Mrs. Vivian Granade Wickersham, 93, died September 1, 2014. Mrs. Wickersham was born in Washington, GA on June 15, 1921, the daughter of the late Joseph Webster Granade and Sarah Camp Granade.She grew up in Wilkes County and graduated from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville.Vivian and her husband of over 60 years, Erskine Brewster Wickersham, raised three children, Erskine, Jr. (Wick), Jeannie and Alice, in Washington.Although she taught school for several years, her love of antiques ripened into the establishment of White Columns Antiques in her home at 225 East Robert Toombs Avenue, which she successfully operated for over 30 years. Vivian is survived by daughter, Alice Wickersham Terry; 3 grandchildren; Tracy Terry Cohen, Jennifer Kromer Slaton and Jaime Danielle Terry and 3 great grandchildren: Daniel Slaton, Hayleigh Slaton and Carson Cohen. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 4th at 2:00pm in Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Hall officiating.Dr. James A. Granade, Jr., Louis Harris, Dan Terry, Dave Toburen, David Wickersham and David Slaton will serve as pallbearers. Following the service, Carol Harris, Vivian’s beloved niece, and Louis Harris will graciously open their home at 306 South Alexander Ave., where Vivian was raised and married, for a reception for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lorie Vivian Terry Memorial Scholarship Fund, Oglethorpe University, 4484 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, Ga. 30319
