Mrs. Holly Elizabeth Clayton Treadway, 39, of Jones Chapel Rd., entered into rest on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Treadway was born in Augusta, but had lived in Wilkes County for most of her life. She was the daughter of James R. Clayton and Janet Turner Clayton,She had worked as a salesperson at Badcock Furniture Store in Washington, and had worked as a veterinary technician at her grandfather’s Veterinary Clinic in Washington. She loved children, and used to love helping out in the nursery at the Washington First Baptist Church, where she was a member. Holly is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Treadway, Jr.; her two sons, Terry Lee Treadway III, and Kale Treadway; her father, James R. (Randy) Clayton, of Washington; her mother, Janet T. Clayton, of Tignall; her sister, Kristen Clayton (Courtney Burton), of Grovetown; paternal grandparents, Dr. M. R. and Joan Clayton, of Washington; and her maternal grandmother, Lorene Mayo(Lawrence);mother-in-law, Pam Newsome (David); was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Terry Lee Treadway, Sr.; and is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
