Dr. Paul Bennett, Sr.

Dr. Paul J. Bennett, Sr., 79, of Washington died February 11, 2010 at his home.He was a native of Medford, MA, the son of the late William Homer and Katherine McLoughlin Bennett.Dr. Bennett was a member of The Church of The Mediator and served in the U.S. Army.He was a proprietor of a Mining Company.He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Catherine Deady Bennett and daughters, Holly Reilly and Deady Sinagra. The family will receive friends at the residence Monday beginning at 4pm. There will be a graveside service Tuesday at 11am in Resthaven Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service at 12noon in the Church of the Mediator.The Rev. Dr. Denni Moss will officiate both services. Survivors include one son, Paul J. Bennett, Jr. and his wife, Madeleine of Walkerton, VA, son in law, Carl Sinagra, of Locust Hill, VA;one brother, Lee Bennett, Orlando, FL; two sisters, Lucille Jervey, and Teresa Jones, both of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Paul J. Bennett, III, Carlo Joseph Sinagra, III, Kathleen Deady Sinagra and Sean Patrick Sinagra. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Mediator,212 E.
