Christopher James Wolfe

February 1, 1983 — June 10, 2023

Mr. Christopher James Wolfe, 40, of Washington, entered into rest Saturday June 10, 2023, at Augusta University Hospital in Augusta.

Christopher was born in Daytona Beach, Fla., and was the son of Cheryl S. Wolfe Young and of the late Danny Lee Wolfe.  He graduated from Athens Tech and was employed by Cushman’s Paint & Body in Evans, Ga.  Chris was a fun loving guy, and particularly loved fishing, and loved his nieces and nephew.  He had many friends and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl W. Young (Clary), of Washington; one sister, Amanda W. Miller (Josh), of Washington; by his special girlfriend, Kelly L. Broome, of Washington; one aunt, Tara Summers, of Crawfordville; three uncles, Jimmy Summers, Crawfordville, Lester Wolfe (Dianne), of Washington, and Greg Wolfe (Kay), of Philomath;  nephew, Hayden Miller, niece, Emma Miller, and by little angel niece Aubrey Miller; and by numerous cousins.  Chris was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emory and Daisy Bryant Wolfe, and by his maternal grandparents, James and Betty Nunn Summers.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will be Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., June 17, 2023, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel.   There will be some time reserved for people to visit and speak with the family in the chapel following the service.
