Carol B. Burnam

Ms. Carol Bridges Burnam, 74, of Susan Lane in Washington, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018, at her home. Ms. Burnam was born in Wilkes County and had lived there all of her life.She was the daughter of the late Bowden Bridges and Zadie Brown Bridges, and was the widow of Mr. Frank Burnam.She was a homemaker, and a member of the Phillips Mill Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Burnam, and by a brother, Charles Bridges. She is survived by her son, Tim Burnam (Jan), of Crawfordville; by her sister, Dot McCord (Bill), of Thomson; three grandchildren, Shelby Burnam, Lauren Burnam, and Eric Burnam; and by two great grandchildren, Aniston and Nya Ray. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the Phillips Mill Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mark Woods officiating.Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
