Yvette Contine Berisford

Mrs. Yvette Contine Berisford, 75, of Skull Shoals Rd., entered into rest Monday, March 8, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Berisford was born in Cow Island, Louisiana,and was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Elliot Contine.She had lived in Washington with her husband, Wayne, for the past 11 yearsPrior to moving to Washington, they had lived in Athens, where she had earned a Phd. in entomolgy from the University of Georgia.She had worked as a quality assurance officer at one of the agricultural labs at the University of Georgia. She is survived by her husband of twelve days shy of fifty years, Wayne Berisford, of Washington; one son, Dan Berisford, and wife Erica, of Los Alamos, NM; three sisters, Flory Reynolds, of Baton Rouge, LA, Jo Mason, and husband Jason, of Navarre Beach, FL, and Tom Savoy, and husband Damon, of Lafayette, LA. There are no memorial services planned. Hopkins Funeral Home in charge.
