Mr. Wyman Frederick Roth, 83, of Forest Lane in Washington, died Friday, April 24, 2015,at University Hospital. Mr. Roth was born in the Ficklen Community, and was the son of the late Charlie and Lottie Patrick Roth.He was the husband of Dorothy (Dot) Silvey Roth for over 60 years.They married on July 2, 1954.He was a retired meat cutter, and was a member of the Ficklen Presbyterian Church, where he served as a church Elder.He was U.S. Army veteran, having served at the Panama Canal. Graveside services will be 11:00 Monday morning, April 27, 2015, at the Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating. Active pallbearers will be Darrell Roth, Tommy Roth, Carlton Nunn, Bobby Wall, Blake Rogers, Tony Merritt, Charlie Merritt, and Steven Roth.Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Roth, Gary Roth, Danny Roth, Larry Nunn, and Willie Nunn. Mr. Roth is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Dot S. Roth, and one daughter, Wylene Roth Harrison, both of the home; one granddaughter,Lacey Nicole Goldman (Jeremy), of Washington; one great grandson, Hayden Lee Goldman; one brother, Thomas Roth (Gladys), of Washington, and one sister, Regina Merritt, of Martinez.
