Winnie Mae Taylor

Mrs. Winnie Mae McDaniel Taylor, 87, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Heritage Health Care in Washington. Mrs. Taylor was born in Oglethorpe County and had lived in Wilkes County for about 30 years.She was a seamstress and homemaker, and had worked at Royal Manufacturing Co. for a number of years.She was the daughter of the late G. J. McDaniel and Ethel Drake McDaniel, and was the wife of the late Arthur Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Mitch Taylor.She was a member of the Crawfordville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday, March 19, 2010, at 11:00 am at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. John Falk officiating.Interment will follow at Jennings Baptist Church Cemetery in Crawfordville. The family is receiving friends Friday morning for one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00 am) at the funeral home.
