Mr. Willie Mack “Paw Paw” Stone, 74, of Tignall, passed away Friday evening in Washington. Mr. Stone was born in Dothan, Alabama, and had lived in this community for about 40 years.He was the son of the late, Henry S. and Dollie May Berry Stone.He was the widower of Penny Meek Stone, and owned his own dry-wall hanging business for a number of years.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Stone, Jr., Charles Stone, and Ernest Stone. He is survived by two daughters, Penny S. Warren (Lonnie), of Tignall, and Patricia S. Dobbs (Gary), of Washington; one brother, Sammy Stone , Augusta; two sisters, Mary Jordan, Tignall and Bert Pelham (Gene), of Jefferson; four grandchildren, Steven Warren (Deanne), Amber Hagan (Dennis), Brooke Davis (Ben), and Josh Dobbs (Hollie); and nine great grandchildren, Tyson Warren, Carly Holloway, Skylar Hagan, Lizzie Hagan, Braylin Stopher, Ethan Stopher, Emma Davis, Rylee Dobbs, and Raegan Dobbs. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, January 2, 2020, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel.Interment will follow at the Philomath Presbyterian Cemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday morning at Hopkins Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Steven Warren, Adam Bohler, Bobby Wall, Earl Etheredge, Mikel Myerholtz, and William Etheredge. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Tyson Warren.
