William Robert "Billy" Wallace

.Mr. William Robert “Billy” Wallace, 71, of Alexander Dr., passed away Tuesday morning, June 4, 2019, at his home. Mr. Wallace was born in Washington, and had lived here most of his life.He was the son of the late Robert W. and Norma Alice Blackmon Wallace, and was the husband of Connie Thurmond Wallace.He graduated from Washington-Wilkes High School, attended the University of Georgia, and was a member of the Washington First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Connie T. Wallace, of Washington; two daughters, Jamie A. Williamson, of Lincolnton, and Ginny W. Cantrell (Chad), of Washington; his mother, Norma Alice Wallace, of Washington; a brother, Theron Wallace (Frankie), of Conyers; one grandchild, Dylan Wallace; and one niece, Molly Wallace. Memorial services will be held at 7:00pm Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel with Walt Brown and Becky B. Stover officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The Hale House, 402 Walker St., Augusta, GA30901, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, or to the charity of your choice.
