William Frank Turner, Jr.

September 5, 1951 — February 17, 2012

Mr. Turner was born in Lyons and lived most of his life in the Danburg Community.He was the husband of Linda White Turner, and the son of the late Frank Turner, Sr. and Myrtis Smith Turner.He was a self-employed carpenter/cabinet maker and had served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Fishing Creek Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon, song director, and President of the Christian Service Organization of Fishing Creek. Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Linda Turner, of the home;three daughters, Tara T. (Brian) George, of Washington, Melissa T. Rodriguez, of Grovetown, and Patty T. (Ed) Durham, of Washington; two sisters, Lois (Henry) Holsenback, of Danburg, and Shirley Burgess, of Lincolnton; and five grandchildren, William George, Amber George, Nathan Durham, Jacob Rodriguez, and Levi Durham.
