Mr. William “Bill” Guss Gresham, 77, of S. Jefferson St., entered into rest Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home. Mr. Gresham was born in Marietta, and he and Lou had lived in Kennesaw prior to moving to Washington about eight years ago.He was the son of the late George Washington Gresham and Margaret Lodean Chapman Gresham, and was the husband of Lou Dunnaway Gresham.Bill was a retired purchasing manager for Lucid Technologies, Inc., loved fishing, and loved to camp at Little River Park Marina, where many great memories were made with his “lake family”.He was a sargeant in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve, having served from 1969 to 1973.He attended Shepherd’s Chapel Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lou D. Gresham, of Washington; two daughters, Janna Gresham, Dallas, Ga., and Wendy Wickman, of N. Dakota; three grandchildren,James Hubbard Wickman, Kuper Todd Wickman, and Cynthia Anne Wickman; three brothers, Mike Gresham, of Kennesaw, Randy Gresham, and wife Ginger, of Acworth, and Andy Gresham, and wife Angie, also of Acworth; and was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Gresham. There will be a Celebration of Life planned at a later date.
