William Jasper Davis

William Jasper Davis, a cherished resident of Washington, GA, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on Friday, December 11th, 1942 to the late Jasper Brown Davis and Lola Mae Brady Davis, Jasper as he was affectionately known, lived a full and impactful life marked by dedication to his family, friends, and community.

Jasper was the proud owner of D & H Service in Washington, where he dedicated over 39 years of his life. His expertise as a mechanic was well-known, and he had a passion for cars that was evident in his work and enthusiasm for dirt track racing during his younger days.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Renda Blackman Davis of Washington, GA, his beloved two children, Douglas Davis of Ellenwood, GA, and Sandee Bridges and her husband Tommy of Washington, GA. Jasper also leaves behind his brother, Ronnie Davis of Washington, GA. His legacy continues through his four grandchildren, Allison Bridges, Jessica Bridges, David (Lauren) Bridges and Jenny Bridges as well as his six great-grandchildren: Adylyn Hudson, Jasper Thomas Hudson, Aiden Bridges, Lucy Bridges, Caroline Bridges, and Noah Bridges. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, Kimberly McCarty and Hannah Marsingill.

Jasper was preceded in death by his brother, Morris Davis, but his loving memory will remain with all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jasper's remarkable life during a memorial service, which will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 3 PM at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Rev. Jimmy Chapman will officiate the service.
