William Allen Bowen

Mr. William Allen Bowen III, 44, of Rayle, enterd into rest Friday morning, November 4, 2022, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital . Mr. Bowen was born in Donaldsonville, Ala., but had lived in Wilkes County most of his life. He was the son of the late Tommy Bowen, Sr. and Nancy Watson Bowen. He was an iron worker in the metal building construction business. Allen is survived by his mother, Nancy Watson Bowen, of Rayle; two sisters, Nancy B. Clark (Bill), and Sue B. Wideman (James), both of Rayle; and by one brother, Tommy Bowen (Karen), also of Rayle. Graveside services will be at 3:00pm Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Rayle with Pastor Karl Neubaum officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at Hopkins Funeral Home. Hopkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. William Allen Bowen III.
