Wanda R. Cooper

Ms. Wanda Rogers Cooper, 62, of Tignall, passed away on June 5, 2019, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Ms. Cooper was born March 3, 1957, in Asheville, NC.She was the daughter of the late Ben and Earnestine Bradley Rogers, and had worked as an LPN in the Healthcare Industry for a number of years. She was a member of the Harvest Time Christian Center. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Howell (Ray), of Bowman; 2 sons, Michael Cooper (Carrie), of Canton, NC, and Adam Venable, of Washington; three sisters, Darlene Rogers, Tignall, Karen Taylor, of Candler, NC, and Vicki Stewart, of Masheim, TN; three brothers, Kenny Rogers (Dearlene), Tignall, David Rogers, Leicester, NC, and Larry Rogers, of Masheim, TN; eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Plans for a memorial service are pending at this time. Hopkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Wanda R. Cooper.
