Tony E. Dills

Mr. Tony Eugene Dills, 49, of Washington, died Monday evening, May 13, 2019, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mr. Dills was born in Waynesville, NC, and had lived in Wilkes County for 12 years.He was the son of Floyd Dills and Donna Ruff Dills, and was the husband of Leslie Barker Dills.He was a carpenter and loved the outdoors (hunting, fishing, etc.) and his family. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church. Tony is survived by his wife, Leslie B. Dills, of Washington; two sons, Anthony “T.J.” Dills, and Aaron Dills and fiance Lila Hosting, both of Washington; two daughters, Alexis Dills and Makenzie Dills, both of Washington; his mother, Donna R. Dills, of Waynesville, N.C.; one brother, Mike Dills (Lynn), of Waynesville, N.C.; one sister, Tracy Henke (Craig), of Charleston, S.C.; grandchildren, Brynleigh Graves, Braxton Graves and Bryson Taylor and a number of nieces and nephews that he adored. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, May 17, 2019, at the New Life Baptist Church with Pastor Arthur Key officiating.The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 until 2:50 at New life Baptist Church prior to the service. Also a second memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Pinnacle Church 101 Fibreville St., Canton, NC 28716.
