Tillie Stone

Mrs. Penny Ann ‘Tillie’ Stone, often called "Nanny", 60, of Rayle, died Wednesday at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta.Mrs. Stone was a native of Halls, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William and Norma Greene Meek.She was a homemaker.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Meek. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 3:00pm in the County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating.Interment will follow in the Philomath Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Steven Warren, M.J. Smith, Will Etheredge, Jesse Hall, Justin Dooley, and Josh Parker will serve as pallbearers, with James Stone, Jr. as an alternate. Survivors include her husband, Mack Stone; daughters and sons in law, Penny and Lonnie Warren, Washington and Patricia and Gary Dobbs, Washington; sisters, Alien Graves, Henderson, TN, Ruby Watson, Plant City, FL, Gloria Maxwell and husband, Hollis, Dover, FL and Margie Stone and husband, Ernie, Washington; brothers, Thomas Meek and wife, Betty, Dover, FL and William Meek and wife Judy, Dover, FL; grandchildren, Brooke Dobbs, Josh Dobbs, Steven Warren, and Amber Warren; great grandchildren, Braylin Dobbs-Stopher and Tyson Warren. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
