Mr. Thomas David Ogletree, 75, of Bartram Trace Rd., passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. Mr. Ogletree was born in Greene County and had lived in Wilkes County for fifty-three years.He was the son of the late Howard and Doris Beal Ogletree, and was the husband of Frances Hardy Ogletree.He had been a supervisor with International Paper for a number of years, and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Union Point. Mr. Ogletree is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances H. Ogletree, of Washington; one son, Randy Ogletree (Christina), of Washington; one daughter, Karen O. Bryant (Michael), Washington; three brothers, Ralph Ogletree, of El Paso, TX, Gene Ogletree, Swainsboro, and Edward Ogletree, of Union Point; and two grandchildren, Joshua Hardy Bryant and Victoria Roberts.He was preceded in death by a brother, James Ogletree. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Tomlin, Rev. Jim Newsome, and Rev. Arthur Key officiating.Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00PM until the time of the service at Hopkins Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Billy Hopkins, Mike Wheatley, David Reville, Everett Hardy, Joshua Bryant, and Lee Yearwood. Memorial contributions may be made to TJ & Friends Cancer Fund.
