Mr. Steven (Steve) David Brown, 70, of Sam Brown Rd. in Rayle, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Steve was born in Wilkes County and had lived here all of his life.He was the son of the late Sam and Dorothy Turpin Brown.He was married twice, first to the late mother of his children, LouAnn B. Brown, and second to Margie W. Brown.He was a farmer, specializing in cattle and poultry. He was a member of the graduating Class of ‘68 at the Washington-Wilkes High School, and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by his wife, Margie W. Brown; two daughters, Marcie B. Breneman (Josiah), and Cynthia B. Altman (Darren); one son, Stacey Brown (Renee);one sister, Kathy Brown; three grandchildren, Kayleigh Bui, Wyatt Brown, and Ethan Wiggins; four step children; three nieces, Amy Ashworth, Karen Whelchel, and Joanne Campbell; and one nephew, Michael Hix. A Virtual Memorial Service (due to Covid 19) through ZOOM will be celebrated Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 1:00pm.
