Shirley Rimes

Mrs. Shirley Reagin Rimes, 76, of Madison, Georgia, died May 5, 2013 at her home.She was a native of Decatur, GA, the daughter of the late Barnard Hayden and Dinah Reagin.Mrs. Rimes had worked with the public many years including managing a truck stop and cashiering at the Atlanta Airport.She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis LeRoy Rimes and a step-son, Robbie Rimes. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10th at 3:00PM in Raytown Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating.Interment will follow in Crawfordville City Cemetery.Tom Burk, Braden Burk, Joshua Rimes, David Foot, Cedric Harris, and Lloyd Kelley will serve as pallbearers.The family will receive friends in the church on Friday beginning at 2:00pm until service time. Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Aaron and Deanne Rimes, Crawfordville, Adrian and Laurie Rimes, Greensboro, Chris Andrews, Alan Andrews and Todd and Marci Andrews; daughters and son in law, Teresa and Mike Redd, Carla Andrews O’Hara, Kim Vickers and Cathy Rimes; step-son, Timothy Rimes; sister, Joyce R. Greene and her husband, Harry, Montgomery, AL; twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
