Selina B. Hopkins

Mrs. Selina Bungard Hopkins, 83, of the Lundburg Rd. In Washington, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hopkins was born in London, England, to William C. and Selina Hart Bungard.She was the wife of Herbert W. Hopkins, and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW and of the Cliffords Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Hopkins was survived by her husband, Herbert W. Hopkins, of Washington; three daughters, Selina E. Hopkins, of St. Marys; Carollen R. Pogue (Butch), of Perry; and Ann M. Harrison (Bud), of Tignall; one brother, William Bungard, of Norwich, England; six grandchildren, Franklin M. Woodall III, Selina Chelsea Woodall, Tabytha Molloy, Stephen McCoy, Evan Harrison, and Lauren Harrison; and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Madden officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service (12:00-12:50) on Wednesday at Hopkins Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
