Sara Mims Wynne

Mrs. Sara Mims Wynne, 94, of Washington, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home.A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Nix and Lucy Bentley Mims.Mrs. Wynne was a homemaker and a member of First UMC of Washington.She was the widow of Jack D. Wynne.She was also preceded in death by a son, James Wesley Flint, two sisters and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 25th at 3:00pm in First UMC with Rev. Thomas Hall officiating.A private interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Claudette and Van Rownd, of Washington; two sisters, Virginia Timmerman, of Ninety Six, SC and Edith Lockaby, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Wendell Mims, of Beech Island, SC; five grandchildren, Tina Christy, David Cobb, Nick Flint, Ryan Flint and Nicole Hogan; and 17 great grandchildren.
