Mrs. Sara Wilson Caldwell, 82, of Tignall, died March 13, 2013 at her home.A native of Elberton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Claude Dewey and Sallie Mae Johnson Wilson.She was a retired seamstress and homemaker and ‘the best Mom ever’!Sara was a member of New Life Baptist Church, where she had served as pianist. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 16th at 1:30pm in New Life Baptist Church, Washington, Ga. with Dr. Dewey Mallory and Rev. Arthur Key officiating. Entombment will follow in Athens Memory Gardens, Athens, GA.Brad Williams, Steve Peterman, Bobby Wilson, Jerome Wilson, Lewis Gosnell and Gary Davis will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include husband of fifty five years, Robert “Bobby” Caldwell; daughter and son in law, Lisa and Stanley Williams, Lexington; brothers and sister in law, Gene and Bobbie Wilson and Julian Wilson, of Tignall; sister, Margaret Peterman, Lexington; Mother in Law, Annie Laurie Caldwell, of Rayle; sister in law, Margie Wilson, Tignall; grandchildren, Brad Williams, Bogart and Lisa Graham, Lexington andgreat grandchildren, Blaine, Bailey and Emily Graham; several nieces and nephews.
