Ruth Vail

Mrs. Ruth Jones Vail, 92, of Tignall, died July 30, 2012 in Nancy Hart Nursing Home.A native of Wilkes County, she was the daughter of the late Crayton and Laura Moss Jones and the widow of Robert E. Vail, Sr.Mrs. Vail was retired from the American Chemical Society where she worked in management. Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Vail, Jr., of Chandler, Arizona and Charles G. Vail, of Clayton, North Carolina; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Rambo, of Greenwood, South Carolina and Ellen Bunch, of Tignall. At Mrs. Vail's request, the body is to be cremated and no services are planned.
