Ruth G. Pixley

Mrs. Ruth Looker Pixley, 98, of Washington, died Monday, March 12, 2012 in Wills Memorial Hospital.She was a native of Viola, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Leola Nitcher Looker.Mrs. Pixley was a homemaker and a faithful member of Washington Presbyterian Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Pixley and daughter in law, Pat Darden Pixley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am in Washington Presbyterian Church with Rev. Glen Kohlhagen officiating.Interment will follow in Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens.Karl Luken, Jerry Stover, Jerrel Pharr, Larry Gillespie, Tom LeCain and Emory Strother will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include son, James W. Pixley, Washington; two grandsons, James W. Pixley, Jr. of Alpharetta and Jeffery (Karen) Pixley of Forsyth; three great grandchildren, Grace Anne, Grant and Will Pixley; two nieces, Delores (Dick) Stoltman, Minneapolis, MN and Myrna Walker, Minneapolis; and nephew, Richard Looker, Massachusetts. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
