Ruth Bell Mrs. Ruth Beatrice Hall Bell, 75, of Washington, died October 22, 2008 in Vidalia, Georgia. Mrs. Bell was a native of Richmond County and had lived in Wilkes county for forty eight years.She was the daughter of the late Jack Byrd and Mary Alice Seago Byrd.She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Bell.She was a homemaker and the proprietor of a daycare. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11:00a.m.in Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating. Jamie Jordan, Lester Wolfe, Robert Edwards, Marvin Bell, Doug Standridge and Bobby West will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Alice Willis, of Warner Robins; one son, Tommie Bell and his wife, Dara, of Pembroke; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Vidalia, P.O. Box 2277, Vidalia, GA. 30474. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
