Mr. Russell “Rusty” Lee Howard, 50, of Fisher Rd. in Washington, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019, at his home. Rusty was born in Covington, Ga., and had lived here most of his life.He was the son of Lee Howard and Edna Faye Demastes.He was a carpenter in the construction industry. He is survived by three sons, Dustin Lee Howard, and wife Britney, of Mitchell, Joseph Dillon Howard, of Auburn, Maine, and Carter Harrison Howard, of Kenetucky; his father, Lee Howard, and wife Beverly, of Washington, and his mother, Edna Faye Demastes, of Oak Park, Ga.; two sisters, Deborah Strange, and husband Mark, of Oak Park, and Lauren Seymour (Russ Johnson), of Washington; and five grandchildren, Bentley Smallwood, Emory Howard, Eva Howard, Braylin Howard, and Wyatt Howard. A memorial visitation will be held to honor and remember Rusty on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 5-7 pm at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel.
