Rosalind R. Talbert

Mrs. Georgia Rosalind Reese Talbert, 88, of Washington, formerly of McCormick, S.C., died September 3, 2013 in Wills Memorial Hospital.A native of Modoc, S.C., she was the daughter of the late James Morgan and Rosalind Sims Cartledge Reese.She had lived in Wilkes county six years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington.She was a retired Merchant, Homemaker and very talented artist.She was the widow of John Pressley Talbert. Graveside services will be held Friday at 4:00pm in Overbrook Cemetery in McCormick, with Rev. Kevin Madden officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Survivors include two daughters and son in law, Rosemary Talbert Hopkins, of Washington and Nancy Talbert Moore and Marion of Hodges, S.C.; one son and daughter in law, John P. Talbert, Jr. andLinda of Waycross, GA; one sister, Margie Bussey, of Greenwood, SC, two sisters in law, Betty Reese, of Washington and Polly Reese, of McCormick, SC; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
