Ronald Michael "Mickey" Smith

Mr. Ronald Michael ‘Mickey” Smith, 71, of Maxwell Mill Rd. in Washington, entered into rest on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Augusta University Medical Center, Mr. Smith was born in Waxhaw, S.C., and was the son of the late Treywick Smith and Ava Dale Helms Smith. He was the husband of Lisa Savage Smith, and had lived in Wilkes County for the past 30 years. He had worked in maintenance in the textile industry. He is survived by his wife, Lisa S. Smith, of Washington; two daughters, Jessica Smith(Angel), of New York, NY, and Kayla Shelton, of Washington; three sons, Michael Smith (Kim), of Hendersonville, N.C., Don Olson (Graciela), of Washington, and J.T. Olson, of Emporia, Va.. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Trey Smith. No services have been planned at this time.
