Roger Hopkins

Mr. Roger Bruce Hopkins, 62, of Spring St., died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hopkins was born in Washington and had lived here all of his life.He was the son of the late Clarence and Geneva Finley Hopkins, and was the husband of Martha Jackson Stout Hopkins.He had been a wood treatment technician at Burt Lumber Co. for 30 years, and was a member of Tabor Baptist Church. Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015, at 3:00pm at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Mark Woods officiating. Mr. Hopkins is survived by his wife, Martha Jackson Stout Hopkins, of the home; two step-sons, Grant Stout (Vickie), of Watkinsville, and Keith Stout (Chris), of Winder; and two brothers, Addison Hopkins, of Washington, and Gary Hopkins (Faye), of Washington. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 Sunday afternoon at Hopkins Funeral Home.
