Robert Wilson

Mr. Robert Edward Wilson, 77, of 3563 Newtown Rd. In Tignall, passed away Monday evening at his residence. Mr. Wilson was born in Atlanta, and had lived in this community since 2002.He was the son of the late George Edward Wilson and Jessie Marie Bruce Wilson, and was the husband of Dianne Allen Wilson.He was a truck driver, and was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Washington. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Dianne Allen Wilson, of Tignall; three daughters, Michelle Deann Gaines (Chandler), of Gainesville, Jennifer Lynn Allen, of Tignall, and Christy Darlene Lawrence (Chris), of Dallas, GA; one son, Jason Edward Wilson, of Tignall; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and one sister, Carolyn Allen, Paulding County.A private memorial service will be held at a later date .Hopkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
