Robert S. Callaway

Mr. Robert S. Callaway, 62, of Washington, died Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Wills Memorial Hospital.He was a native of Washington and the son of the late Shelby and Elizabeth Teems Callaway.Mr. Callaway was a Dairy Farmer and a Mechanic. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 12th at 3:00pm in Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Albert Huyck officiating.Brian Callaway, Otis Callaway, David Callaway, Melvin Johnson, Ricky Stevens and Scotty Ware will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include one daughter, Shelly Callaway Ferrell (Lee), of Tignall; two sons, Tom Callaway (Toni) of Washington and Justin Callaway (Tiffany), of Washington; one sister, Ann C. Dowdy (Les), of Douglasville; five grandchildren, Tyler Callaway, Shelby Callaway, Emma Callaway, Luke Callaway and Bryon Bufford and special friend, Kathy Callaway. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
