Rebecca Gail Vandiver

Mrs. Rebecca Gail Johnson Vandiver, 65, of Union Point Hwy. in Union Point, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Mrs. Vandiver was born in Cleveland, Tenn.She was the daughter of Earl and Betty Jean Cox Johnson, and was the wife of Mr. Paul Stevens Vandiver.She and Paul had lived in the Union Point community since 1975, and Rebecca was a member of the Greensboro Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Paul S. Vandiver, of the home; two daughters, Kathy Gail Ware (Scott), of Tignall, and Jennifer Lois Ethridge (Zach), of Maxeys; one son, Paul Steven Vandiver, Jr., of Union Point; six grandchildren, Michael Paul Ethridge, Christopher Austin Ethridge, Stacey Ethan Ware, Lynn Darlene Vandiver, Paul (Trey)Steven Vandiver III, and Blake Alvin Vandiver; one brother, and seven sisters. Graveside services will be 2:00 Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point with Phillip Hubbard officiating.Pallbearers will be Michael Ethridge, Austin Ethridge, Stacey Ware, Robert Watkins, Leon Grovitt, and Michael Johnson.
