Reba Cornelia Hester

Miss Reba Cornelia Hester, 95, of Greenwood, SC (formerly of Washington), died Friday, October 21, 2016, at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.Miss Hester was born in Wilkes County,and was the daughter of John Pilcher Hester and Mary Norman Hester.She was a retired telephone operator and dispatcher.She was of the Baptist Faith.Miss Hester was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie West, Maydelle Denard and Nell Bowers; and by one brother, Marion Hester. She is survived by one sister, Edythe McCall Armour (Marvin), of Washington; two nephews, Ken Bowers (Lisa), of Grovetown,and Steve McCall (Donna),Martinez; five nieces, Elaine Denard Grimes (Len), of Greenwood, SC, Mary Hester Wideman, of Washington, Anne Hester Wideman, Washington, Sherri Bowers (Steve Dobbs), Danburg, and Lisa McCall Florence, of Washington. Graveside services will be 3:00 Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the Phillips Mill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Woods officiating.
