Randall Eugene Edwards, Jr.

June 22, 1975 — January 26, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Randall Eugene Edwards Jr., who left this world peacefully on Sunday, January 26th, 2025, at Piedmont Augusta Hospital, surrounded by the warmth and love of his devoted parents. Randall was 49 years old.

Randall made his home in Washington, Georgia, where he lived for 20 years. He was a cherished member of the team at United Medical Enterprise in Thomson, Georgia, where his dedication and positive attitude left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working with him.

A graduate of Plant City High School in 1993, Randall remained deeply connected to his roots in Florida. He found peace and joy in the outdoors, spending many treasured moments simply sitting outside, reflecting on life’s simple pleasures.

Randall's memory will be cherished by his loving parents, Randall E. Edwards and Jackie Gay Edwards. His sister, Haley Copeland, and brother-in-law, Jeff Copeland, of Macon, Georgia, will hold him forever in their hearts. Randall also leaves behind cherished aunts and uncles: Jim and Sandra Messer of Mulberry, Florida; Denis and Christine Edwards of Treasure Island, Florida; Lynn and Lois Gay of Washington, Georgia; and Leland and Sonya Gay of Plant City, Florida, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of Randall's life will be held at a later date at Seigler Funeral Home in Mulberry, Florida. In honoring his wishes, Randall’s ashes will be tenderly scattered in Rabun Gap, Georgia, a place that held special meaning for him.

Arrangements have been thoughtfully entrusted to Hopkins Funeral Home. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
