Piccola Delene Hubbard

Mrs. Piccola Delene Thaxton Hubbard, 88, of Union Point, entered into rest Thursday morning, June 2, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Hubbard was born in Philomath on October 21, 1933, to Elton and Sarah Armour Thaxton. She was the widow of Mr. James F. Hubbard, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hubbard was a member of the Carter’s Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sons, James F. Hubbard, Jr. , and Trevor Hubbard; by a daughter, Ann Hubbard; by a grandson, Brandon Hubbard; by her brother, Howard Thaxton; and by an aunt, Marvel Graves.

Mrs. Hubbard is survived by two sons, Brian Hubbard (Paige), of Union Point, and Kevin Hubbard (Loretta Tackett), of Baldwin; one daughter, Sherri Hubbard (Ricky Lindsey), of Union Point; eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Hubbard.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Carter’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marc Lhowe officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Hopkins Funeral Home from 12:15-1:15p.m.
