Patricia A. Griffin

Mrs. Patricia A. Griffin, 84, of Washington, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Pruitt Health of Washington. Mrs. Griffin was born in Wilkes County on Augusta 29, 1936 to the late Ed Anthony and Edith Anthony. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hoyt Griffin. Mrs. Griffin graduated from Washington Wilkes High School. She worked as a manager at Allied Department Store for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Ann G. Haughey, of Washington; two sons, David Griffin (Jeanette), of Savannah, and Tony Griffin (Becky), of Washington; one brother, Gene Anthony (Linda) of Washington, two sisters, Jane Anderson, of Charleston, SC. and Becky Tucker, of Washington; six grandchildren, Courtney H. Brown (Thorne), Katie H. Carden (NIck), Michael Griffin (Whitney), Ashley G. Teasley (Drew), Logan Griffin and Faith Griffin; and five great grandchildren, Landon Brown, Caroline Brown, Catherine Brown, Charlie Carden, and Palmer Griffin. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Resthaven Cemetery with Father Stephen Lyness officiating.
