Mrs. Odessa Welch Driggers Hunt, 78, of Washington, died January 29, 2013 in University Hospital.A native of Turbeville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late, Clayton and Molly McElveen Welch.Mrs. Hunt was a retired machine operator.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Charlene Driggers and a grandson, Franklin Wayne Johnson. Graveside services will be Friday, February 1st at 2:00pm in Independence UMC Cemetery with Rev. Terry Casper officiating.Dan Standard, Ray Price, Adam Price, Charlie Price, Jeff Driggers, Jonathan Johnson and Candler Price will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include four sons, James ‘J.C.’ Driggers, Green Cove Springs, FL, David Driggers, Washington, Mike Driggers, Washington and Bruce Driggers, Washington; two daughters, Jeanette Price, Washington and Connie Goldman, Washington; two sisters, Ann Davis, and Ethyl Kinlaw, three brothers, Boot Welch, Tommy McElveen and Ernest McElveen, all of South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren, Ray Price, Adam Price, Charlie Price, Jeff Driggers, Corey Davidson, Colbi Driggers, Carleigh Driggers, Sherry Collins, Terri Standard, Roger Paul Johnson, Jonathan Eli Johnson, Misty Odessa Johnson, David Anthony Driggers and Tasha Hulsey;sixteen great grandchildren, Noah Bierer, Candler Price, Tyson Price, A.J. Price, Hunter Price, Benjamin Price, Emilee Arnold, Bryson Lee Taylor, Olin Ward, Brynleigh Graves, Michael Standard, Wesley Standard, Ryan Standard, Ray Collins, Andrea Collins and Aubrey Collins. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
