Nina Marie Boatwright Ms. Nina Marie Broadway Boatwright, 69, of Glenn Rd. in Rayle, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at her home. Ms. Boatwright was born in Elberton, but had lived in Wilkes County for most of her life.She was the daughter of the late James G. Broadway and Idalene Caldwell Broadway, and was the widow of Charles R. Boatwright.She was the manager of the Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School Cafeteria, and was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, James Randall Boatwright, and wife Felicia, of Rayle, and Michael H. Boatwright, and wife Tina, also of Rayle; one sister, Joy Smith, and husband Denny, of Alma; six grandchildren, Cody Boatwright, Levi Boatwright, Carmen B. Echols, Dylan Howell, Miranda Bray, and Morgan Huff; and two great grandchildren, Azuri Kemp, and Will Echols. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Friday evening at Hopkins Funeral Home.There will also be a one hour visitation at the church Saturday morning from 10:00am until the time of the service at Sardis Baptist Church.
