Nettie Hunt

Nettie Hunt Mrs. Nettie Jenkins Hunt, 95, of Sparta, died December 7, 2008 in Chaplinwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.She was a native of Carnesville, Georgia, the daughter of the late John and Essie Williams Jenkins and the widow of Luther Hunt.She was also preceded in death by two sons, Norman and Julius Dunson, three daughters, Johnnie Sue Morgan, Julie Dunson and Lucy Mae Dunson, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Mrs. Hunt was a member of Independence UMC and a retired sewing machine operator from Royal Manufacturing.She lived most of her life in Wilkes County but lived in Milledgeville for the past five years. Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 2:00pm in Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Cates officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include, four daughters, Mary (R.L.) Fendley, Cleveland, Orene (George) Wolfe, Milledgeville, Beatrice (Bill) Land, Social Circle, Jeanette (Wayne) Pullum, Locust Grove; one son, Edward (Doris) Dunson, Dahlonega; three adopted children, Lisa, Lou Anne and Albert Carlisle; one daughter in law, Betty Dunson, Tignall; 33 grandchildren; 75 great grandchildren and 30 great, great grandchildren The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
