Myrtle Clarice Tyler

Mrs. Myrtle Clarice Combs Fanning Tyler, 85, of Greensboro Rd., died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at the Alzheimer’s Care of Commerce. Mrs. Tyler was born in Philomath and was the daughter of Charlie C. and Gertrude Snelson Combs.She graduated from Alexander Stephens Institute in Crawfordville and worked at the Washington General Hospital as a nurse. She had been a caregiver to her husband, sister, and to those in need.She had a burden for God’s creatures that didn’t have homes and loved looking after their needs, too.She was a member of the Carter’s Grove Baptist Church.
