Helen Talkington Mrs. Minnie Helen Gaston Talkington, 95, of Woodruff, SC died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.She is the widow of the late John Kelly Talkington and the daughter of the late Thomas C. Gaston and Minnie R. Gaston.She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodruff. She is survived by one son, Johnny K. Talington, Jr. of Anderson; one daughter, Gaston T. Motes of Flat Rock, N.C. one brother, Joe N. Gaston of Woodruff.Two grandchildren Kelli Besh of Riggold, Ga. and John Motes of Zirconia, N.C. Three great grandsons.She was predeceased by six sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services will be held 2pm on Friday, May 15, 2009 in the first Presbyterian Church of Woodruff with Rev. Beth Hoskins officiating.Visitation will be held from 1 – 2pm prior to the service. Graveside service will be held 11am on Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Resthaven Cemetery in Washington, Ga.
