Mildred Brown

Mildred Brown Mrs. Mildred Carey Brown, 98, of Cumming, formerly of Washington, died October 9, 2011, one day before her 99th birthday.She was a native of Barnett, Georgia, the daughter of the late Alexander and Myra Ledbetter Carey.Mrs. Brown was retired from operating Mildred’s Beauty Shop.She was a member of First United Methodist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Andrew Brown, Sr. and son, Ira Andrew “Boopie” Brown, Jr. Survivors include, grandson and his wife, Andrew and Laurie Brown of Milton, Georgia; four grandchildren, Katherine Ann Brown, Alexander Andrew Brown, Lucien Warner Brown, and Camille Tanner Brown; two sisters, Nell Adcock, of Dunwoody and Catherine Flocker of Washington.
