Mrs. Mary Suzette Nash Kopecky, 78, of Washington, died Monday, April 1, 2013 in University Hospital.A native of Washington, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Thomas and Frances Dillard Nash.Mrs. Kopecky, who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Wesleyan, was a retired Psychometrist and a member of First United Methodist Church.She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 10:00am in Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Thomas G. Hall officiating.Aaron Redus, John Buckman, Robert M. Willingham, James I. Roberts, David Olmstead, David Driggers and Bruce Ware will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include her husband, Pete Kopecky; son, Charles M. Kopecky and his wife, Rosanne of Washington; daughters, Jeanne Marie Kopecky, of Gooding, Idaho and Carol Ann Kopecky Redus and her husband, John, of Holly Springs, N.C.; one brother, Dillard Nash, of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren, Andrew Redus, Aaron Redus, Abby Redus and Sheena Kopecky. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 7:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Suzette Kopecky to the Mary Willis Library, 204 E.
