Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Hurd Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Dyson Hurd, 71, of E. Robert Toombs Ave., died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Liz was born in Washington, GA, was the daughter of the late Beatrice Dyson Ginn, and was the wife of Raymond Hurd.She was a homemaker and entrepreneuer, and delighted in keeping herself busy.She was a graduate of the Washington-Wilkes High School, and will be missed by her hometown and all who knew her. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 3::00 pm at Resthaven Cemetery.Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Liz is survived by her husband, Raymond Hurd, of the home;four daughters, Julie (John) McBee Bisch, of Cumming, Michelle Lowman, of Gay,Meghan Hurd,of Stockbridge, and Lauren Hurd, of McDonough; three sons, Tim (Cathy) McBee, of Fayetteville, Matt Hurd, of Stockbridge, and Brandon (Winn) Hurd, of Telluride, CO; one sister, Deborah (Steve) Breazeale, of Washington; one niece, Kimberly Moore, thirteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 till 2:30at Hopkins Funeral Home.
