Mrs. Mary Agnes Pitts Bridges, 78, of Washington, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Heritage Healthcare of Wilkes.A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Marcus Walter and Ruby Lee Bell Pitts.Mrs. Bridges was a member of Tignall Baptist Church and was retired from Belk’s. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 30th at 2:00pm in the Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kevin Madden officiating.Grandsons, Mark Bridges, David Bridges, Michael Hardy, Christopher Hardy, George Grimaud IV, and Josh Grimaud will serve as pallbearers.The family will receive friends IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING the service at the cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Simon Kelly Bridges; two sons, Donald Kelly Bridges and his wife, Tricia of Wahington, James Thomas Bridges and his wife, Sandee, of Washington; two daughters, Donna Hardy and her husband, Mike of Washington, Victoria Grimaud and William Shelley, of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Belle Lynch, of Appling and Sybil Walker, of Hull; grandchildren, Kristin B. Stevens (Greg), of Washington, Mark (Andie) Bridges, of Washington, Jenny Lynn Bridges, of Warrenton, David(Lauren) Bridges, of Washington, Allison Bridges, of Washington, Jessica Bridges, of Washington, Michael(Susan) Hardy, of Gainesville, Christopher (Monica) Hardy, of Washington, Andrea(Jeremy) Burgess, of Lincolnton, George Foster (Genna) Grimaud IV, of Washington and Josh(Karla) Grimaud, of Washington; and 15 great grandchildren.
