Mary Hill (Mamie) Barnett

Ms. Mary Hill “Mamie” Barnett, 52, of Washington, passed away February 14, 2019. She was born in Washington and was the daughter of Vivian Ficklen Barnett and of the late Marion H. Barnett, Jr.After graduating from Darlington High School, she attended the Katharine Gibbs School in New England.She worked some in the real estate industry, and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Mediator as well as being a member of the Vestry of that Church. She is survived by her mother, Vivian Ficklen Barnett and her brother, Wilkes W. Barnett, both of Washington; one niece, Lucy Evelyn Barnett; one nephew, Maximus Hill Barnett; and many cousins. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 18, 2019, at Resthaven Cemetery in Washington with The Reverend Dr. Dwight Ogier officiating. Hopkins Funeral Home is in charge, and is honored to serve the Barnett Family.
