Marvin W. Wilson

Mr. Marvin W. Wilson, Jr., 68, of Independence St. in Tignall, died Thursday morning at his residence. Mr. Wilson born in Washington, GA, and had lived in the Tignallfor most of his life.He was the son of the late Marvin W. Wilson, Sr. and Virginia Griffin Wilson, and was the husband of Joan Guest Wilson.He was a retired truck driver, and was a member of the Tignall Baptist Church. Memorial services will be Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 3:00 at the Tignall Baptist Church with Greg Johnson officiating.The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday,August 11, from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Joan G. Wilson, of the home; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Chris Wilson and Marie Bell, of Atlanta, and Keith and JenniferWilson,of Washington;one grandson, Trent Wilson; one brother, Ronnie Wilson, of Thomson, and a niece, Sandra Edmunds.
