Marvin Wilson Partain

Mr. Marvin Wilson Partain, 65, of Athens, died November 14, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital.He was a native of Washington, Georgia, the son of the late Woodrow and Louise Huff Partain.He was a retired diesel mechanic, a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church and served in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Marian Elrod Partain; daughter, LuAnn Loggins; stepdaughter, Vonda Knight; stepsons, Chris Crumpton, Buster Crumpton and Chuck Crumpton; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 10:00am in Diamond Hill Baptist Church, Hwy. 29, Hull, GA. with Mr. Shannon West officiating Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Chamberlain, Chris Crumpton, Ray Broom, Greg Wolf, Chris Allen and James Nelms.
