Margie Meek Stone

Ms. Margie Meek Stone, 70, of Lexington Rd. in Washington, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her home with family by her side. Ms. Stone was born in Halls, TN.She was the daughter of the late William and Norma Greene Meek, and was the widow of Mr. James Ernest Stone.Ms. Stone was a homemaker and had lived in Washington since 1984. Ms. Stone is survived by one daughter, Debra S. Wall (Bobby), of Washington; one son, James E. Stone, Jr. (Sonya), of Washington; one brother, William Meek (Judy), of Plant City, FL.; one sister, Gloria M. Maxwell(Hollis), of Dover, FL; five granddaughters, Brandy Dozier(Dee) , Shelby Wall (Josh Goldman), Hunter Wall, Britney Peppers and Kayla Stone; three great grandchildren, Briana Dozier, Mason Dozier and Braxton Gowan. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 23, 2017, at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Wilkes Memorial Garden.Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at Hopkins Funeral Home.
